Nancy K. Hyde, CPA, CVA
CEO, Managing Shareholder
Nancy is an Oklahoma City native and earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. She passed the CPA exam at first sitting in May 1975. After graduation, she worked for the IRS as an Auditor before becoming a Tax Supervisor at the International Accounting Firm of BDO Seidman CPAs. Between 1980 and 1992, Nancy worked for Noble Operation, Inc. as CFO, the International Accounting Firm of Grant Thornton CPAs as Senior Tax Manager, The US Bankruptcy Court as a Court-Appointed Panel Trustee and Examiner and started her own business. Nancy has published articles and taught seminars for various small business organizations, CPA Societies and other professional groups for many years.
Nancy has over 30 years experience as a CPA working with individuals, small businesses, and closely held companies providing solutions in tax planning, business consulting and valuation, retirement planning, and litigation support. She is actively involved with the Oklahoma Society of CPAs on the Small Firms Committee and is a past President, Vice President, Director, Secretary and past Chair of the Taxation Committee and the Nominations Committee. In 2003, Nancy was inducted in the OSCPAs prestigious Accounting Hall of Fame. In 2010, Nancy was appointed as Commissioner of the Oklahoma Securities Commission, and, in 2011, she was appointed by Govenor Brad Henry as the Vice Chairman.
Nancy's other current memberships include: The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where she was a member of the Tax Executive Committee - the governing body of the AICPA Tax Division, American Women's Society of CPAs, Board Member of the YWCA, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Women Presidents Organization Group. Nancy is also a member of EWF International, an Oklahoma City-based organization offering professional and personal development for women business owners and executives. In 2007, EWF honored Nancy with the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Nancy has been an ACE volunteer for the past 26 years for the Small Business Administration. She has been President of Hyde & Company CPAs, P.C. since 2002.

Lou Davis, CPA, CFSA
Senior Audit & Accounting Manager
Lou earned his B.B.A. in Accounting and Financing from the University of Oklahoma, and passed the CPA Exam in 1974. He is also a Certified Financial Services Auditor. Lou has worked for the international accounting firms of KPMG and Ernst & Young in Oklahoma City, and in the Los Angeles and Dallas offices of Deloitte & Touche. In addition to his public accounting experience, Lou has 8 years of financial institution experience as a CFO and Treasurer for Oklahoma financial institutions. His industry experience also includes Director of Internal Audit postitions for public companies in Indiana and Texas. He has worked for the Dallas offices of the FDIC and the U.S. Government Accountability Office in management positions, and his counsulting experience include senior positions with Accretive Solutions and Jefferson Wells, also in Dallas.
Upon returning to Oklahoma City four years ago, Lou became affiliated with Hyde & Company, and currently has responsibility for the accounting and audit practices of the firm. He has been a member of the AICPA and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs for over 35 years.
Brian Sullivan, CPA
Tax Technical Manager
Brian has over 27 years experience in tax and industry accounting, and began working at Hyde & Company in July, 2006. Prior to working for Hyde & Company, Brain worked as CFO of a local insurance agency. He has been a CPA since 1979. Brian graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1980 with a joint MBA and JD Degree. Brian is from Edmond, Oklahoma, and his hobbies include jogging and aikido.

Tamara Sponburg, CPA
Tax Operations Manager
Tamara has been a CPA since 1989, and has been working at Hyde & Company since October of 2006. Her primary work includes preparing federal and state income tax returns. She specializes in delinquent tax returns and IRS audit and state tax issues, which includes sales tax, use tax, withholding and nexus issues. She also works with clients directly to resolve IRS audits or OTC audits.
Tamara has 25 years of experience in her field and earned her degree in Accounting from The University of Oklahoma. She also earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City Community College in 2003.
In her spare time, Tamara enjoys playing flute and piano at her church, gardening, scuba diving, playing tennis and volunteering as a children's church leader. Tamara's hometown is Moore, and she is a huge OU sports fan.

Jamie Gorman
Payroll & Back Office Manager
Jamie began her accounting career at Hyde & Company in 2005. While working part-time, she pursued her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Oklahoma City University, and completed her studies in 2007. Jamie began her experience working with businesses in 1998 when she helped run her parents' store which sold gourmet foods and specialty hams. Her father is retired from the United States Air Force. Therefore, she spent much of her childhood living in various countries and in several American states, including Panama, Germany, Florida, Virginia, Texas & Illinois. Jamie has called Oklahoma home since 2003.
Jame has worked her way up in Hyde & Company from being a student intern to her current position of Manager of the Payroll Department and Back Office Manager. She has performed many different duties during this process. Her department is responsible for all of the payroll reports, W-2s, 1099s and sales tax reports.
When Jamie is away from the office, she works with the children and youth ministries at her church in Edmond, OK. She also uses her accounting background at her church as a member of the Finance Committee to teach others about best practices in their personal finances. Jamie also dedicates her time to a variety of charities including Habitat for Humanity, Mustard Seed, Skyline Ministries, City Rescue Mission, Circle of Care and the Veterens Hospital.
Professionally, Jamie is active with the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and the Edmond Young Professionals group sponsored by the Edmond Chamber of Commerce.
